I have been a member of the International Association of Near Death Studies for roughly 30 years.
I attended a Boston IANDs meeting back in 2010, and listened to a wonderful presentation given by the past President of IANDS who was the guest speaker for the meeting. I asked her how many people she believed had experienced NDEs. She said when she was president of IANDS, the estimate she believed was roughly 20 Million.
I was shocked!
20 Million!
When I was young, people would hardly speak about them in public.
In my short lifetime, not only did we have an "international association" dedicated to investigating them (IANDs)... now I learned we had an estimated 20 million experiencers!
and that was the rough guess back in 2010!
So, if her estimate was 20 Million back around 2010
my own very conservative estimate stands at 25 Million in 2023.
As people came out to share their experiences, I listened and studied them as a hobby.
If you have an NDE, you know that after you die, you go over to the other side,
and have a life review.
A Life Review makes you aware that you will see the choices you made in life,
and will learn how you affected others:
Who did you help?
Did you try your best?
Did you live a life you were proud of?
It also makes you aware that you are a spiritual being inside a 3-D Body.
Most people return from an NDE with a few senses heightened.
For myself, I am very sensitive to energy.
It is one of the reasons I had to learn to be organized.
Clutter feels like a big pile of energy ball in a room.
I prefer clear surfaces in a room. A clear table with a vase of flowers on a table feels very welcoming to me.
This was not my natural way of living, I had to design a system that allowed me to move through a room
and clean it up fast.
